Ground Rope Lesson at the Home Ranch
My young filly spooked the kids who were practicing roping with their dummy steer at a barrel race.
I like to be able to swing a rope and drag it behind them at the very least. Exposing a colt to the sights and sounds of a branding is best done slowly. I usually let people know that I am on a colt at my first time branding. Once you get that done, then they just start turning into a horse.
