Learning to Open and Close Gates
LJ making his 16th ride on the filly at the J Bar L Arena. LJ worked her in the indoor arena first on Wednesday where we started the process of teaching her to open and close gates. We then moved to the outdoor arena where she is loping circles, picking up her leads.
Then another practice session of opening
and closing the round pen gate. Where she started to offer side-stepping over to close the gate.
